We'll meet in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot and take the Unified Party Bus to the lake. At the lake we'll have a BBQ dinner and then will join up with members of the Ninnescah Sailing Association for an evening sail. This event is open only to YPW members and their guest and is limited to 32. The cost to attend is $15 and includes transportation, dinner, beer, pop, water, and sail boat ride. In almost every job today, a person will need to communicate with someone from a different culture. Human communication consists of 93% body language and paralinguistic cues, while only 7% of communication consists of the words themselves. Cross-cultural misinterpretation is common and can put people in awkward situations.
Come hear Claude Reichenbach, owner of the Cross Cultural Assimilation Institute, speak on cross-cultural communication. Claude will share general tips on intercultural collaboration and will touch on communication as it pertains to emails, conference calls, and body language which will help you communicate better with others from different cultures. This is your chance to sharpen the skills you have already and learn new ones!

This is your chance to network with other YPs and find out more about the organization. The August mingle will begin at Fox and Hound and end at PF Changs in the Waterfront. Join us at Fox and Hound for appetizers and drinks from 5:30pm until 7pm. At 7pm we'll move over to PF Changs for drinks and dinner. Both restaurants will have a full menu for you to order from if you choose. Community Relations will be hosting a school supply drive to support the Salvation Army's 15th Annual School Supply Landslide.
